RG III. Kinkaku-ji, Temple of the Golden Pavilion, Kyoto, Japan. <p>My recent trip to Kyoto, Japan provided the opportunity to visit Kinkaku-ji, a Zen Buddhist temple and one of the most popular buildings in Japan attracting large numbers of visitors annually.  Restored in 1950 after being burned to the ground by an arsonist, the top two floors are coverd in pure gold leaf.  The reflections across the pond are a beautiful sight for visitors.</p> Backstage. In this painting, I`ve returned to a favorite subject, the candid, backstage and exhausting life of the ballet. Sagamore Hill. <p>An original oil painting of one of the many paths at Sagamore Hill, the home of the 26th <a title=`President of the United States` href=`https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_the_United_States`>President of the United States</a>, <a title=`Theodore Roosevelt` href=`https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodore_Roosevelt`>Theodore Roosevelt</a>.  Located in <a title=`Cove Neck, New York` href=`https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cove_Neck,_New_York`>Cove Neck, New York</a>, on the North Shore of <a title=`Long Island` href=`https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long_Island`>Long Island</a>,<span style=`font-size: 8.33333px;`> it</span> is now the Sagamore Hill National Historic Site.</p> Parade to the Post. Jockey Victor Espinosa glances back at the field after guiding American Pharoah to victory in the Haskell Invitational, the stallion`s first race after winning the Triple Crown in 2015.
